Job Description

Shift:

Training Period: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Post-Training: Second Shift (2:30 PM – 10:30 PM, anywhere from 8-10 hr shifts)

5-6 days per week (Mon – Fri, with possibility of Sat or Sunday)

Pay: $15/hr

Job Description:

We are currently seeking candidates for a Janitorial temp position with the potential for hire on the second shift. Training will be conducted during the day shift. The ideal candidate must have a flexible schedule and be available to work nights and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities:

Perform custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and building interiors and exteriors.

Clean building floors by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, or scrubbing with cleaning products and/or industrial vacuum cleaners.

Move furniture, fixtures, or equipment to clean areas.

Service, clean, and supply bathrooms and kitchens.

Clean conference rooms.

Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.

Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.

Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, and chairs for meetings or functions.

Gather and empty trash.

Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to self, others, equipment, or floors and fixtures.

Notify management concerning hazardous conditions or the need for repairs

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to walk, stand, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, lift, push, pull, grasp, and continually move during working hours.

Subject to lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements:

Resume is Required Flexibility to work one weekend day if needed. Strong understanding of the importance of cleanliness in various environments.
